STRATEGIC PLAN
Announcing the launch of ACT's New Strategic Plan!
On November 13th, we'll provide highlights from ACT's new strategic
plan - a plan which includes you. Throughout the day, you'll meet
ACT's board members and learn about how you can take part in united
action and advocacy to promote the essential value of trees.
Collectively, ACT members have already planted 7.8 million trees and
mobilized 450,000 volunteers - just think what we can do working
together to communicate, collaborate, and mobilize our resources.

PLAN FOR THE MEETING
Here's how to prepare:
* Bring materials from your organization to trade and share
* Bring a copy of ACT's new strategic plan to read on the plane
* Read the agenda and think about your questions and ideas for
discussion- ACT meetings are very interactive.

At ACT meetings, we like to share lots of information about what all
of us are doing at home. Plan to bring copies of your brochures,
great ideas, recent publications or successful educational materials,
fundraising examples, or anything else that you think other community
groups would be interested in seeing. We expect 100+ participants.

IN APPRECIATION OF OUR PARTNERS

Signature Sponsor:
The Home Depot Foundation is making a tremendous impact in support of
healthy, livable communities through its national partnership with
Alliance for Community Trees. In the first two years of our
partnership with The Home Depot Foundation, our members have planted
50,000 trees and engaged 20,000+ volunteers through the National
NeighborWoods Program. Thank you Team Depot and The Home Depot
Foundation for your comprehensive and visionary support!

Contributing Sponsor:
The Abell Foundation is making life better for the people of
Baltimore through community development and revitalization citywide.
One such effort is Parks and People Foundation's Watershed 263
Project. Thanks to conference sponsorship from the Abell Foundation,
ACT is able to highlight the work of community forestry experts in
Baltimore to our guests from across the nation. Thank you to The
Abell Foundation for your generous support!

Supporting Sponsor:
RPM Ecosystems joins ACT for the first time this year as a breakfast
co-host. RPM supplies hardwoods and native trees throughout the East
and Southeast, with a specialization in providing plant materials
suited to volunteer projects and lands restoration work. Thank you to
RPM Ecosystems!

Planning assistance was also provided in part by the USDA Forest
Service, who is a partner to the Alliance for Community Trees and our
member organizations in so many ways. We thank the men and women of
the agency for their dedication, which helps us be better
practitioners and more knowledgeable advocates for trees in our cities.

Collaboration with the National Arbor Day Foundation's Partners in
Community Forestry National Conference is also helping ACT expand our
impact. Look for ACT members on the conference program!
