Sen. Grassley To Help Kick off NeighborWoods Month
It’s NeighborWoods Month! The national campaign officially swung into  
service today, but the first focus events will be on 10/3 in Cedar  
Rapids and 10/5 in Des Moines. Joining Trees Forever, Habitat for  
Humanity, and The Home Depot to launch nationwide efforts will be U.S.  
Senator Charles Grassley, Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie, Cedar Rapids  
Mayor Kay Halloran, and Alliant Energy, among many partners. These  
events are some of 653 green service events in 45 states (plus DC and

This year, we're looking for great action shots that celebrate a  
spirit of volunteerism and stewardship for trees. Send us your  
inspiring, surprising, or amusing photos and we'll feature your images  
at the ACT Annual Meeting and Member Rally on Nov. 17 in Atlanta. The
