Nonprofits Participate in Online Funding Competitions
(College Park, MD)- Online giving competitions like Pepsi Refresh have
proliferated over the past year, raising both visibility and funds for
nonprofits and corporate sponsors alike. ACT member and partner
organizations are participating in these challenges, many of which end
this week. A simple click supports urban forestry nationwide--vote now
for ACT partners like NJ Tree Foundation, American Forests, Indiana
Urban Forest Council, and Keep America Beautiful.

LOCAL STORY
Every Tree Tells a Story
(Washington, DC)- The Cultural Landscape Foundation, in partnership
with American Photo magazine and The Davey Tree Expert Company, has
produced the 2011 Every Tree Tells a Story Calendar. An accompanying
photography exhibition will tour the country. Davey is pleased to
offer active ACT members a complimentary copy of the 2011 Every Tree
Tells a Story calendar- order by January 28.

(New York, NY)- New York Restoration Project seeks a Project
Coordinator for MillionTreesNYC, a partnership between Mayor
Bloomberg's PLANYC initiative, the New York City Department of Parks &
