[kj] Famous gatherers

[KETRACEL WHITE]

I was there, but I've yet to spot myself (friends say they have - in the
swirly up-close moshpit scenes).  The director (Samuel Bayer) was a Dick &
threatened to lose the entire audience if we didn't behave according to his
instructions - so my friends & I left early, having not the slightest
INKLING of how massive Nirvana was on the brink of becoming.  We'd scene
them at the Roxy a few weeks before, not realizing that the skinny,
shirtless, long haired drummer was in actuality Dave Grohl - we'd thought
that the old guy had just got very good...anyway, some casting director was
there casting kids from the audience & I think I fit the "grunge"
description back then; I was probably wearing cut off jeans & a flannel, I'm
embarrassed to say...
Anyway, we left early & went to see L7 at Raji's - which ended up being much
more fun!  Ahh the good ol' daze...
