I thought pissing into one's empties was de rigueur at English
gigs, even if one doesn't have a broken foot or arse.  Said
empty can then be used to chuck at the band if the band sucks
(opening band only in this case obviously!).

If my friends have been putting me on let me know, but I've
heard it from an awful lot of people.  I've *never* seen
an American concert-goer do this or just piss on the spot
rather than give up a down-the-front space, no insults
intended, especially if my so-called friends are full of
shite.

Several of them will be at the Bristol gig.  Give my
love to Matt, but nothing physical or he'll deck you
I'm sure ;-)
