I was at the gig in Aberdeen & saw them at Glastonbury. They were
fantastic, full of energy, stand down Margaret is now stand down george.

Nope but they had a large punk scene involvement
They were in Aberdeen and the audience was full of old punks. Pretty good
night as well.
This stuff started as an alternative to the Reading scene so I would take
the real punk title as tongue in cheek!
Although its mainly the oi stylee bands that are involved

Everything sounds good except for the bit about "real Punk" bands playing.
Ugh! The whiff of desperate elitism is stifling.
And The Beat (Ska) are *NOT* a Punk band....real or imaginary. Never were.
