yeah, i'm not about to read too much into it.  Mik did say they asked 'nicely'.  but it is definately a real shame, and as you say the viral marketting is what we're all about right.
 
the gathering isnt a bunch of bootleg traders in Camden, we're the people who buy every album and single even when they are shit!

company would have a grip on the type of viral marketing where the
enthusiasm of the hardcore generates new fans. But the majors, for
sure, seem to object to that idea on the principle that it doesn't
develop on their terms. Loosen the clamp, I say.
