Joy Division and Killing Joke are both strikingly brilliant bands, but 
I don't think I'd characterize either of them as strictly "PUNK!" As 
odious a term as it has become, both bands are the quintessential 
examples of POST-PUNK (next to PiL and Gang of Four).
