Terrible news!

I remember he had a non malignant brain tumour some years back which is what
ultimately forced him to leave NMA.

He was the power behind NMA but also an immensly talented guitarist.

What a bummer!

What a terrible week - with John Peel, that's another two of the key
inspirations from my youth now lost. Between them, they helped shape my
passion for music, gigs, and the joy of traveling to weird & wonderful
places to indulge that passion.

I didn't know Rob personally, but have so many great memories from watching
him perform live with New Model Army, and listening to his genius on record.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.
