Just got mine. The thing that gets me with MD is that when you receive that package you ordered, it comes as a complete experience. 

 

let me explain to those who haven't experienced it yet. If I order from amazon or elsewhere I get a package which I don't look at with a sticky label on it and its discarded immediately to get to the product. With an MD product I sit and look at the packaging with the label on. The label is groovy and care has gone into it. I have found that I keep the packaging as well! Well until she throws it out. 

 

So I carefully open the package and find the 12" inside which is a brute of red vinyl. I shall get my original down from the archives and compare them at the weekend, play spot the difference. We have joy

 

Accompanying my 12" I received a gold tin which is the orb v meat beat manifesto. Opening the gold tin with embossed writing on top I find round paper inserts. I wont go into it to much as its for you to experience but do have a look at the bottom inside of the tin. I've got the cd on right now and the senses are heightened.

 

Special mention to the effort once again with the receipt. Another collector's item along with badges. I don't wear badges myself but I like them as part of the package.

 

All in all a great lunchtime! A+ to Coles

Got my lovely crisp new 12" in red vinyl today from Mr Coles for £7. Is it me or is this the heaviest record on... well, record? 

A slightly belated happy 25th to Killing Joke and MD! Come on boys and girls, get your cash out.
