Hugh's autobiography, "A Multitude of Sins". OK ill ask santa 4 it.
I never offered an opinion on the selection allowing it to soak in and a
few things surprised me. Of course compilations are always going to be
controversial and are generally very boring. This though has what I
expected from someone I got the impression is quite pretentious. Its got
some challenging stuff on it!
I was a bit surprised with the siouxsie and x ray spex inclusion with
the nature of the other tracks. The fact that he goes for real scene
stuff that many simply would never have heard of to the inclusion of
some obvious ones is surprising. Orgasm Addict appeared on so many
compilations as have the ramones that the comment on no stranglers has
relevancy. Devo track is already questionable b4 I hear it. I was glad
to see Pauline Murray in there as Penetration do get overlooked (still
get a buzz when I put on the 10" with Don't Dictate on it) and also The
Adverts. Why no alternative tv?

Amen, brutha.
I'm currently reading Hugh's autobiography, "A Multitude of Sins".
Highly entertaining.
Regarding Savage's compilation? Oh goody. How novel. A punk compilation.
