One of the organisers of the 3 day Punk festival in Morecambe, featuring such acts as Damned, 999, UK Subs, Chas And Dave, Vice Squad and Discharge etc, told me that KJ were very close to playing there last year. He would not elaborate any further on the issue.
To be fair the organisers are trying to broaden the scope of the line up and this year they have Justin Sullivan of NMA fame playing a solo set.
Maybe they said no when they saw the rest of the line up ?
I don't know.
Brian.

KJ owe absolutely nothing to the Ramones, the new york dolls, or Iggy Pop
KJ said in a recent interview that they liked and incorporated punk into their music because they liked the attitude of it.
