but theres definitely a sense of humour lurking beneath the surface.

much of it is, although not neccessarily in a ghastly new age sort of way
Astral Disaster and both volumes of Musick to Play in the Dark are pretty
good 'ambient' Coil albums. Time Machines can be fun as an accompaniment
to a decent spliff or some mushrooms, too :o)
