Audition is one of the man's more palatable movies. Visitor Q is considerably more...extreme, if that's the right word.
 
Audition is a great film, but Takashi Miike is overrated. Provoking shock and disgust is neither clever nor difficult.

Not that particular one, but a whole lot of Takashi Miike's other movies.
