austin has lost a good one, dixon coulbourn:

dixon's austin punk rag "idle time" was a lynch pin for the scene and
because of this documentary work of his experiences over the years has
made a tremendous contribution to a great city's legendary punk rock
scene. without his devotion so much of austin's formative punk years
would be lost in rotted centex brain cells. really sad that he has gone.
i have enjoyed his contributions for many years and i get a big kick
seeing the pictures of old friends in the audiences slamming, hanging,
discovering and participating in what was a wonderful new world of punk.
for any of you who aren't familiar with the great austin TX scene, check
out this page of his photos (it is a treasure trove) and discover what
took place in austin circa 77-86:

if anyone would like to see his some of his other contributions, for
instance, his pop group page, go here:

implore you to explore this wealth he has bestowed!
