It's definitely a US thing I reckon Alex - I've yet to
meet a Brit who liked Kiss. I always viewed them as a
sort of American Bay City Rollers (ie totally without
merit apart from in the minds of confused 12 year
olds. Nothing wrong with that, someone has to do it).
Plus I had the misfortune to interview Gene Simmons
once, and he was an almighty towering pompous prick
who talked in a weird Shakespearean actor's voice,
mostly about his thousands of conquests and how he had
a polaroid photo of each woman. Later I saw him coming
on strong to two blue-rinsed old grannies who were 80
if they were a day. Seriously. He'd have shagged them
there and then if he could have.
