Happy Birthday, Alexi....

I must admit, I still have not gotten around to hearing Course of 
Empire. But, I'm standing my ground on the "who needs two drummers?" 
bit. I saw Ministry live circa THE MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO TASTE, 
with both Rieflin and Atkins bangin' away, and it was just needless. 
Instead of one rhythmic battery, it was like listening to two excitable 
horses scamper around on a cast-iron platform. 
BOOM-BA-BOOM-BA-BOOM-BOMP. Yawn. Also, didn't 38.Special have two 
drummers? I rest my case.

The only time I've seen two drummer work well, oddly enough, was the 
last time Apollo 440 came through NYC. One played live drums, the other 
played "synth"/electric drums, and they complimented each other 
perfectly.
