With regards to the Stranglers...I've held out for years not going to see them with the 'new' singer....but that's all about to change...Stranglers at Holmefirth!!! Am expecting Compo, Clegg and Nora Batty to be up at the front.

What's so great about the Strangler's "Aural Sculpture"? It just sounds like lame synth-pop to me. It's such a change from their early stuff like "Nobody's Heroes". That group (like the Damned, another band I think is overrated) was never too popular in the US.

Someone has toI s'pose! It's the one so many people seem to dislike (well, at least until the later 80's LP's), but I've always had a soft spot for it. Didn't actually seem as good as I remembered it when I was playing the new CD I got, but still got some great moments. I think The Raven gets the tip for the top from me. Black & White and Rattus are also damn good though.
