I quite like AURAL SCULPTURE, honestly. As far as I'm concerned, it was their last great record. Sure, they all but bury their bite on the record (word has it that they were trying to sound like "a cooler Roxy Music," but I think "Ice Queen" ranks up there with their very best work).

What's so great about the Strangler's "Aural Sculpture"? It just sounds like lame synth-pop to me. It's such a change from their early stuff like "Nobody's Heroes". That group (like the Damned, another band I think is overrated) was never too popular in the US.

Someone has toI s'pose! It's the one so many people seem to dislike (well, at least until the later 80's LP's), but I've always had a soft spot for it. Didn't actually seem as good as I remembered it when I was playing the new CD I got, but still got some great moments. I think The Raven gets the tip for the top from me. Black & White and Rattus are also damn good though.
