i was a big hawkwind fan and a bigger motorhead fan
the michael moorcock book to find is
time of the hawklords
it's very rare indeed.
motorhead was indeed a hawkwind b - side, and was released later as an a side ona single with a black and red sleeve.
and like others have said was a lemmy composition,
the fall out between m/head and hawkwind was partially mended when motorhead got the support support slot on the 1977 hawkwind tour, and motorhead were totally awesome,
anyone interested mail me on or offlist
love and peace man

and Hawkwind comes from Hawkmoon, the character from the great sci-fantasy writer and part-time band member Michael Moorcock. Recommended but read "Behold the Man" and "Mother London" if you can't stand the dragons and sorcery cack.
