You're in for a real treat Alex. I caught them in Seattle a week ago and as others have said the show was fabulous. I wasn't a "fan" of the band beforehand, I only own the 20th Century comp, but I came away with a renewed respect and a "damn, they should have been HUGE" epiphany kind of experience. The crowd loved them and the dance floor was definitely jumpin'.
I'm not sure who's been opening for them around the country, but in Seattle it was Radio 4 from NY. Radio 4 was great as well, all the good things about post/punk rolled into one. There was also a new trio from Portland Oregon named Menomena who I think many Gatherers would enjoy. Somewhere between the Residents, PiL and The Rapture.
