[kj] outside the [blank]

[Alexander Smith]

I forget if it was this list or the Firewatercircus (a Gathering-type  
list devoted to the band Firewater), but I started signing off as "Alex  
in NYC" just to avoid confusion with another Alex who, ironically,  
didn't stick around. And the moniker stuck.

I'm also an impossibly obnoxious Manhattan snob who thinks -- nay,  
KNOWS -- that New York City is better than anyplace else in the world,  
and I generally enjoying rubbing that fact in people's faces like the  
jackass that I am.
