Thanks for the report, zeking.
Good to see MINOG in there, and as I'm sure many have suspected, this new
bass guy is a hired gun who has basically saved this little tour. Depressing
to think how different the shows would be with Raven still on, but alas. Jaz
and Geordie could still give the bassist the nod, but they're obviously
taking a wait and see approach.
If they would just replace Communion with Invocation, the spring would
return to my step.
Still, shows are better than no shows, and I've listened to the audio from
the Paradiso gig a few times now and they really rock through that setlist -
look below - from Hosannas through Psyche, it just doesn't let up. The few
new songs are still manna to my ears and I like dark synth they've added to
Majestic. Unless yousendit is more difficult to use than it seems, I'll get
the show (and maybe even some artwork) up soon. Don't say I never do
anything for you.
Hey Alex, I didn't manage to get any questions to you, but on the chance
there's still time...
Would Killing Joke ever consider doing a show where they play one or two
albums front to back in their entirety?
If I wanted to hire Jaz to write an orchestral arrangement for a song, would
he accept the commission and for how much?
Since they're going all the way to Japan for Fujifest, would they also play
Hiroshima if they received an offer to do so?
