There may be other factors behind the reasons for his post. It was posted very late on Boxing night , early the following morning actually. He may have been agitated by other factors unconnected with the Gathering . He may have had a few beers and was in a bad mood and relived his anger by posting on the Gathering. Hes probably calmed down now and may regret his actions.
I haven't spoken to him off-list , so I'm just giving a possibility .
