It's not even that -- 192kbps Dolby Digital as I recall, same as on
DVD movies.  It's lossy, like a high-bitrate MP3 -- but a better
codec, so closer to 256kbps or 320kbps MP3 quality.  The Japanese CD
has the track in regular CD quality (audibly better than the DVD
single to these ears).
