There's a little bit more to it than that, GD once likened the job as  
being asked to play for his 'Led Zeppelin' & get paid for it too. He  
was into the Joke big time (Bauhaus too) & his status in the band  
then was no different to say Raven's or Ted's on the 2003 tour.
