Dear Brian,

Nice posting.     All these new "sub-genres" are not much more than a smoke 
screen to 
distract young kids from realizing that most of it is garbage.    There is 
definitely some cool shit out there these days,  but as per usual  you find that 
there are a ton of followers and not a lot of  leaders.   One issue that 
makes it a bit more overwhelming now is  the fact that there are so much more 
music out there these days because of all  the different outlets that musicians 
can use to get there music to the  public.    Even the record labels that are 
always complaining  about lagging sails and all that are releasing way more 
stuff than they did 10  -20
years ago.   Outside of Matt Pinfield,  there is virtually  no one that is 
capable of keeping up with all of  it.                    thanks, Carl P.
