    That is also incorrect . You are saying that Israel invaded in 1982 and left the country in a state of civil war when it retreated in 1986?
   The facts are that the Lebanese civil war started in 1975 , predominately between Christians and Muslims , although Syria, PLO and Israel formed alliances with the warring factions.
   But yet again Jim, you misrepresent the truth in order to make out that the terrorists are the victims . The civil war started 7 years BEFORE Israel invaded in 1982 .

   The country was ruined by civil war involving everyone , why do you try to pin all the destruction on too the Israelis ? Why you try to blame the Israelis for everything ?

So that invasion then, and the ensuing civil war in Lebanon, that was limited purely to Israel destroying rocket launchers in Lebanon? Wow, 'cos I could have sworn they sent in tens of thousands of men, with full armoured and artillery  support, and left half the country in ruins. Bizarre, eh?

  And if you had a decent mathematics book, you would realise that 1982-2000 is only 18 years and not 20.

This is simply not true , I can categorically state that Israel did nt spend the 20 years from 1982 till 2000!!!! "blasting the crap out of the country" , there may have been a few sporadic exchanges of missiles but to say that Israel spent 20 years "blasting the crap out of the country" is a lie . 
     When Israel did send missiles into Lebanon, it was to destroy ther rocket launchers which were being used to attack Israel.
