wow!
  That clip of Morrison is completely surreal.  Completely  ignoring the KJ 
connection I've always liked that band a great deal.    Jim Morrison had a 
fucking awesome voice, no question, and the band had a bunch  of great songs over 
their short history.
         However, these positive  points are continually diminished by the 
following things;
     1) People who refer to Morrison as a great poet  .  Sorry, I don't think 
so.
      2) Ray Manzarek using any excuse to milk the  bands legacy for yet a 
couple more bucks.
     That celebrity Doors reunion thing with the  celebrity guest singers 
that happened a couple of years ago was conspicuous in  the way that everyone 
that sang on it SUCKED .  It just went to show that  back in the day before there 
was loads of technology available to salvage dodgy  singing,  the choices 
were either 1) you can cut it,  or 2) you  CAN'T.
       Morrison definitely had a gift, and he  squandered it.
       The isle of wight film has his last  performance, which was done a 
couple of weeks or so before he died, and they do  that song "The End", and it's 
pretty prophetic, to say the least.
