[kj] atkins & budgie - a drummer's view

As a drummer myself, I have always believed Budgie
underrated. That said, my leanings have always been
more to Atkins'.
Frankly, they're totally apples and oranges
stylistically. Budgie has his rock tendancies, but he
could open up more with the subtle, more delicate
approach as well.
Atkins has always been, to me, an artist who tended to
go more for the jugular more in terms of establishing
a dark, and often more forceful, rhythm.
