[kj] (OT) Brian James w/ The Damned One-Off Gig in London

Very confusing this....how do Scabies/James tour as Damned when
Vanian/Sensible have been driving the band for years? July 6 sounds good
tho'....I was at the SBE 2003 gig (became a DVD) but arrived during the
support act but didn't ask anybody who they were as all they were
playing was Damned covers!! Maybe roadies.....

Have been away for a while, passions are running high on the list at the
moment!

The founding members of punk band The Damned, Rat Scabies and Brian
James, 
are announcing the 30-year  anniversary of the release of their debut
album 
"Damned Damned Damned" and will be performing the album in its entirety
at 
the legendary 100 Club in London. Casey Chaos from AMEN will be the lead

singer for the evening. This show will be at  London's 100 Club on July
6, 
2006.

Anyone else remember "Amen" when they supported Killing Joke on their US

tour in '03? I personally thought they were awful and very derivative
but I 
know a lot of people who liked them.
