No offense, but that statement's borne from complete ignorance of both
bands.
It's like saying there's no difference between Led Zeppelin and The Doors.
Seriously, despite their surface similarities there are vast differences
between the two bands from musical and lyrical styles as well as who they
influenced and who influenced them. Both bands had their pros and cons and
as a huge fan of both bands, I can tell you firsthand about them.
