I saw the reformed Anthrax open for Judas Priest and
they sounded pretty amazing. Looked good too, lots of
energy. The reformed Skinny Puppy is also totally
fucking rad. The album they did is really good.
Nowhere even close to their best stuff, but quality
all the same. And the show was one of the best
concerts I've ever seen. They're working on another
album as we speak. I saw Quicksand in 1998 which was
something of a reunion. They had been broken up for a
couple of years and then broke right up again after
that tour. But the show itself was wicked. Oh, and the
last 2 Helmet albums have been pretty good (they
reformed a couple of years ago).
Bands I'd love to see reform:
Mr. Bungle
Blind Idiot God
Grotus
Long Fin Killie
Stump (i actually heard that the 4 members of Stump
recently played Stump songs at the drummer's 50th
birthday party but it was so impromptu that no one
could remember the songs.)
