Johnny Appleseed is a fuckin' great song. Strummer did
it twice on US late-night TV (the 2 big national
shows) and the 2nd time he went all out, throwing his
guitar to a roadie and then kneeling down while he
sang. The host responded after the song by asking him
to hitchhike across the country w/him. Did you hear
"Streetcore" the last Mescaleros cd? A total
masterpiece.
