For those who don't want to download the Lost Sounds _Memphis is Dead_
LP for free from YouSendIt (for which you have to reg, but for free
anywayss), just get it from my site:
http://www.kvltpunk.com/audio/Lost_Sounds_Memphis_is_Dead_1999.zip
It'll be up there for a little while, so get it fast. No registration
necessary. Great stuff, but not up for long.
"_Q_: I remember that when Lost Sounds began you said there was a
Darkthrone/Emperor influence, and the first LP to me sounded like an
ambitious attempt to graft Nordic black metal onto US garage punk. Is
that an accurate assessment?
_Alicja_Trout_ (vox, Lost Sounds): Yes."
