I'm a librarian, 03/10/1973 in the euro format not the (annoying!)
american one.
NZ follows the decimal measurements system, like all right-minded
people;). And UK english spelling...so we're blessed with abominations
like "oestrogen"
Charitable etc...hrm, I work for a bank (!). But I was raised a catholic
so I suppose that ethic stays with you, if that's what it was all about to
you in the first place, in my case it was. Oh that and feeling guilty
about interfering with yourself, that's all I seem to remember about my
catholic upbringing ;) The idea of god as a white-haired old man sitting
up there taking notes about who's fiddling with themselves is just funny
to me now.
So you're saying I'm perspicacious? ;) "Having extraordinary
insight"...one of my favourite words. My other friend Mel says the same
about me, but points out that I tend to go fuck it up by then being too
blunt with people. Scored the lowest possible score on a psychometric test
last year for "social acceptability"...meaning I'm as blunt as a brick
sometimes. I really manage to rile ppl up with that sometimes. It's a bit
of a problem. One way I look at it though is that two negatives can make a
positive, in that, if you're negative about something that's bad, you're
poetntially doing people a favour, and you're at least being honest. If
you don't like TV ads, pollution, the Bush administration, sell out music,
etc, then you SHOULD be negative about it. It came to me as an epiphany
once that if you're a utopian, as I am, then to a certain extent you're
going to come across as negative because so many things could be so much
better. SO when people complain about the "depressing" music I listen to,
like Frowngarden and Tool, I don't mind.
Sorry I got your name wrong too! I always just read how you sign off
"Mel"...duh. Hey and any attempt to answer Bongo's question about how
numerology is supposed to work?
