[kj] Ministry final tour/No Raven

I hate to be hating on of our "locals" but I could never get into Warrior 
Soul or anything else he has touched.  And to lay claim that he is from 
Detroit is a bit of a stretch.
Kid Rock claims to put "Detroit City back on the map" when really he is from 
a suburb that is a 30-40 minute drive (by freeway) out of the city.
Bob Seger - from Ann Arbor
Ted Nugent - St Clair Shores
ICP - Southfield
Eminem - Detroit but barely.  A much safer part of the city
Stooges - Ann Arbor
Motown can claim Detroit but a lot of the artists are not originally from 
here BUT would live in the city so I'll give them a pass (during the 
heyday).
the White Stripes - kind of all over before they got famous.  Ferndale, 
Detroit, Hamtramck
John Lee Hooker - Detroit
Negative Approach - Detroit

There are others but I am drawing a blank.

Most of the people that claim to be from Detroit are really from a safe and 
clean suburb

Detroit seems to only be cool on paper and not reality
