[kj] Autism vs. Asperger's Syndrome with fillings and metal and AAAAGH!!!

I had a chat to my wican friend and she had hers out for the equivalent of
only one to two hundred quid she reckons, I was thinking I'd have to sell
limbs or something to pay for it, so that's a bonus. But we'll see, I
usually need to head straight to the pub after the dentist to drown my
financial sorrows (probably because I've only been twice in the last 15
years :)
Interesting how the dental profession say there's no harm in it, yet they
won't put in new amalgam fillings in pregnant women. Basically from a
financial point of view they have no choice but to deny any possibility of
harm, because the potential claims if they are found to be damaging are
going to be massive, much more so than the tobacco industry's payouts.
In a utopian world, dentists would follow standard scientific best
practice, i.e. constantly attempt to disprove any hypothesis (i.e. amalgam
fillings are healthy), and other things like 'first do no harm' (as
opposed to 'first buy a jag')
I'm gonna get a heavy metals test done after I've had the things out,
because I've been noshing down the tuna like it's going out of style for
the last 20 years...hrm. Eating lean meat for the gym hasn't done me too
many favours, I got Campylobacter over 3 years ago from nasty chicken and
my guts and immune system still hasn't recovered fully yet.
