The Stranglers thing was a bit more gradual... you can talk to many
Stranglers fans and they have different cut-off points... some it's
Meninblack (1981), others Feline(1983), others Aural Sculpture (1984) and
so on. Mine was Hugh Cornwell leaving, but we've done that one.
Speaking of bands changing sound, the Cockney Rejects going from Oi/punk to
AC/DC sorta stuff has to be one of the biggest and most hilarious
"progressions" ever!
