This is true.

And before Scream, the mid-80s DC Hardcore(-ish) band Mission 
Impossible, whose EP I had the misfortune of hearing thanks to Soulseek. 
(Incidentally, the Mission Impossible EP was put out on DC's Sammich 
Records label, owned by Ian MacKaye's sister and the original home of 
Swiz and Shudder to Think.) I have not heard his pre-Scream band Dain 
Bramage. Yes, he has 'cred,' but of course I still dislike Nirvana 
pretty much. :/
