pps has anyone on the list actually seen  mel gibbsons apocalypto? or are 
your views on it so far based on;y on the medias/critics view? also having 
had a keen interest in both aztec and mayan history,it appears that gibson 
seems to be borrowing info not only from mayan,but leaning heavly
if not more so,to wards  aztec,as they were the most violent misoamerican 
culture at the time,also they came along,after the mayans!!!   ok this is 
info i found out whilst in mexico last year,i did alot of research whilst 
there,so gibsons has not got his facts entirly correct concerning the mayan 
culture,plus i also found out last year,that some of my ancestors on my 
fathers side were mayan ;-D
