[kj] [KJ] Killing Joke, blue oyster cult

Because I had an entirely retarded day (neither of my under-3-years
olds napped today), and have just opened my second beer of the
evening, let me state the following....
(a) I've been entirely on edge of late, and feel like I've said one
or two things that may have been out-of-line, needlessly wind-uppy or
hypocritical. In such cases, I apologize profusely. You're all a
bunch of beautiful, compassionate, wonderfully tasteful and informed
human beings, and I love you all. Well, most of you, anyway.
(b) Killing Joke still reigns supreme over anything else you can
name, despite the fact that HOSANNAS is without question their worst
album ever (yes, that's right -- WORSE THAT OUTSIDE THE FUCKING GATE).
(c) Alex in NYC's Top Ten Blue Oyster Cult `choons:
1. "Joan Crawford (Has Risen From the Grave)"
2. "Veteran of the Psychik Wars (a Hawkwind cover, if I'm not mistaken)
3. "Shooting Shark"
4. "(Don't Fear) The Reaper"
5. "Godzilla"
6. "Take Me Away"
7. "Dominance And Submission"
8. "Burnin' For You"
9. "Kick Out the Jams" (a live MC5 cover, obviously).
10. "Astronomy"
And yes....I'm fully aware that Blue Oyster Cult were *ENTIRELY
LUDICROUS IN EVERY CONCEIVABLE, SPINAL TAPPY FASHION*, but so what?
