Yeah, his voice wasn't bad at all, it was just the rest of it. The
Stranglers kinda stood apart from most bands with their set-up, but with
his addition as "frontman" it changed it too much and not for the better. I
understand they were going for a change (they started off the gigs of that
first tour with Something Better Change) but it just didn't work for
me. God I'd love to see 'em again with Hugh! I'll be seeing the Joke
again before I see that one though!
