[kj] Top 10 bands - Kiss

I feel exactly the same way. My first concert at 5 years of age was Kiss.
1978. Pontiac Silverdome, MI. Dynasty tour. I was very young and naive.
And it was absolutely mind blowing. My father took me (because my mother
made him). He hated Kiss with a passion. So he decided to get super-stoned
and fall asleep, and snore, during the show. Hilarious.
Kiss will forever stay in my heart because of that. I hanged on and bought
there albums through Asylum (at that point I bought it and never listened to
it. Creatures of the Night is actually pretty good in my opinion.
But I digress.
I never attempted to see them until 1996. Tiger Stadium, Detroit, MI.
First show of the Reunion tour. I still get chills when I hear that guys
voice opening that show. I screamed like a little kid. And I never do that
at any show.
As a result. My family assumed that I wanted ANYTHING Kiss. But I didn't.
I appreciated it but I was guilty by association. I received tickets to the
Psycho Circus new Years Eve show. Tickets to two different shows on their
"Farewell" tour. They were good. My ex-wife even had to admit that they
put kn good shows
And then they came back. I joked about suing them for false advertising.
But I made it perfectly clear that I do not want to go to shows or receive
related gifts
thank you...Good night!!
