[kj] A Gathering in honour of Raven?

Coincidentally, Iain and I are in London this weekend anyway, but annoyingly, we won't be able to make it Saturday night, (as we're going out for dinner with Iain's parents). I tried to convince Iain we could nip in for an early drink before dinner, but as we have to get to Chelsea he wouldn't buy it.
 
Meeting a few friends in Soho tonight, some of whom are KJ fans, so I'm sure a glass will be raised to Raven somewhere along the way, and also on Sunday and Monday, when we're meeting a few other friends to go and see the Stranglers and Siouxsie.

I'm going to have to decline I'm afraid.
Not that I don't want to, but having been to Annecy this week and having a full family schedule, I think I would be pushing it.
Still feeling the effects today ! ;-)

Dan (Paul's brother) is going to arrange something in Wolverhampton, so there will be an "official" do which, geographically, will suit lots more folks anyway. I'm sure we'll get decent notice.

We could designate rendezvous in each major city on the planet.  The (new) Intrepid Fox, London?  Its next to the Centrepoint tower, as featured on that early picture of them with "THE WORLD" written on it.  Jaz in a suit & hat.  
 
That's how much love there was for Mr Raven and his work.  A whole world.
