Don't fucking go anywhere, you're the only one agreeing with me about Queen,
these filthy punks will have my guts for garters if you aren't around
backing me up on that.

And god forbid, someone might suggest that punk originated with the Sex
Pistols.

I wish I could knit. That would, at least, be useful -- unlike being able to
properly kick a football.

Look, gents, I hate to admit this, but Peter West (i.e. Shite-Flinger) was
probably right: I've been in a terrifically foul mood of late. I've no job,
I'm hemorrhaging money, my severance has run out. I'm under tremendous
pressure. Unfortunately, that's manifesting itself by turning me into an
insufferably disagreeable bastard. I apologize.

I should probably recuse myself from the proceedings for a while.

To further expound on this ridiculous argument:

"those people who hate sports were........
1. crap at sports."

I'm crap at knitting as well. Do I hate it as a result? No, I just find it
rather fucking dull, in much the same way I find American football. Dull,
dull dull. My disinterest in sports pre-figured by arguable "inability" to
play them. I have no interest in chasing a ball down a field -- I think it's
a rather pointless thing to do, thus, why should I bother?

It's the age-old "you're just jealous" argument and it has no merit.

True, but we were also pissed off as children when sports would pre-empt all
the good shows on TV.

And we're also not a bunch of repressed homos.
