[kj] New October File vid, from upcoming LP - on second though, don't it sound like Quicksand?

Oh cool. I remember this video. A funny take-off on that sucky-ass missing kids Soul Asylum vid. Good song (Seaweed, not Soul Asylum). Yeah, just one of many great bands that kind of fell through the cracks.

And in the "Shoulda-Been-Way-More-Famous-Than-They-Were" category, also,
I say, SEAWEED.
In that early 90s post-hardcore genre w/ Fugazi & Quicksand and Jawbox,
great stuff. Saw them referred to as "Fugazi Osbourne" -- sounded like
Fugazi but vocalist sometimes veered into Ozzy territory.

That video & song's off Seaweed's 4th LP from 1994. And they were from
Washington state like all those cool grunge bands, too! They were at the
right place, right time! But, no, no success. Did anyone else here like
them?
