I quite liked the God Machine
I saw them at Edwards No 8 here in Brum
around the time Scenes from the Second Storey came out
Very powerful live
But I could never really understand the Cure comparisons

Hmmmm...  My fiance is a HUGE Cure fan (I'm not), but she was rather 
unimpressed when I played The God Machine for her.
