that pistls gig is steep for two people---weve been thinking about iggy in the park,theres not to much else going on,on that bank holiday,so we might as well see iggy ;D mik!

I've only seen the Sex Pistols once before in 1996 (at the Shepherds Bush Empire) hence I couldn't let this one pass me by ... it comes a week after Iggy & The Stooges on Clapham Common (Get Loaded In The Park) ... and a few weeks after Manufactured Romance play at the Camden Underworld ... saw them at Brixton last year, great show but surely only the diehards would pay £40 to see them at Hammersmith so soon after a tour..can't really get at them for cashing in if they sellout every time..they won't get my dosh this time tho.

I saw the Pistols at the Palace, foolishly thinking that as I was too young to see the first gig that I had a least seen the last...how wrong could it be! I subsequently saw them at Manchester MEN arena last year and vowed that was the last time I would watch a punk band in a big venue. If you haven't seen them then pay the dollar and go as they are still a tight band and Lydon is eminently watchable – but I get that horrible feeling at these gigs that I am at a Punk Pantomime and being fleeced for the privilege.DaveLeeds
