  Well, can't we have constructive criticism? :)

  However, I think we can criticize an individuals behaviors while appreciating his/her talent.
  One does not negate the other.

  Sure.  To an extent.

  Critism can restrict or inhibit behaviour. Then we block the best bits.

  I do see the value in critism/feedback.   There's a balance.
